tralapa festival .
Tralapa Sports & Music Festival is a multi genre festival raising funds for communities and causes across Saskatchewan.
Founded in 1917 Tramping Lake Park has been a part of many people’s lives. Unfortunately in 2003 the park closed down until 2016 when a group of individuals came together to host a festival once a year to bring the park back to life. That festival is TRALAPA.
A combination of sports and music this festival brings together people from all walks of life. Sporting events include a beach volleyball tournament, slow-pitch tournament, 18 hole mini golf. The music lineup always bolsters an amazing array of country, rock n roll and electronic artists.
A huge part of Tralapa is the charitable aspect. Every festival a couple contests take place. Applause for a Cause: the attending communities a chance to cheer the loudest and receive a donation to cause of their choice. Smash for Cash: winning ticket holders get a chance to smash guitar on stage with one lucky guitar holding a cash prize, proceeds go to a cause of the festival’s choice.
TRALAPA would not be possible without it’s amazing attendees, we hope to see you there!
